The episode starts with Ruka talking to Kazuya on a video call. For some reason, our lead protagonist is not seen in the mood to have a conversation. We saw Kazuya zoning out as he remembers his last encounter with Mami. Ruka realizes that soon, and then she apologizes for her behaviour.
Ruka for the first time acts maturely. Kazuya then consoles his girlfriend and that he had already forgiven her. Ruka becomes extremely happy and tells Kazuya that only she lightens him up. However, Kazuya remembers Mizuhara. It’s been a while since he has rented her out.
Lately, Mizuhara has been busy with her play-acting. So he was nervous to ask her for a date. But he remembers he always had fun with her. Then, at last, he chooses to be greedy and rents her.
Rent A Girlfriend Season 2: The Impromptu Date
We know that Mizuhara has held the role of a rental girlfriend for the past year. To Kazuya’s surprise, Mizuhara’s rank went up. She’s not a rookie anymore. And her hourly fees have gone up by a thousand yen for regular dates. Kazuya becomes emotional for Mizuhara and ends up spending the amount on her.
After all, Mizuhara is the only one for Kazuya in his heart. They always go for normal dates like to cafes or aquariums. However, he decides to act differently this time. He asks her to come in school uniform for the date.
Initially, he felt he was being creepy. But he always wanted it since he was in high school, so he puts his shame aside and asked for this. While waiting for Mizuhara on his date, he gets damn nervous to a point that he thinks of cancelling the idea.
Upon arrival, Mizuhara senses Kazuya’s nervousness and tries to distract him. She starts with a normal conversation. And tells him that a lot of clients demand to go out with her in a school uniform. Hearing this Kazuya gets jealous. Still, he can’t help as he cannot take his eyes off her.
Kazuya’s Dream Date
Both start their date by holding each other hands. Then he takes her to eat a chocolate candy. Where Mizuhara asks Kazuya to have a bite from her candy. Kazuya who has made an entire schedule for this day is now extremely delighted. After having candy, it is followed by shopping where they meet Sumi.
The next step of the plan was to go to a photo booth. Where they pose as couples. Here Kazuya again had a delightful experience, as it was the first time he was so close to Mizuhara. It feels like heaven to him. Now, he can always look at that couple’s photo at home.
Finally, the date ends with a Ferris wheel ride. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a date. By the end, Kazuya realizes that every time the convo was about to die out, Mizuhara did her best to keep the date lively. Mizuhara always gives him the best day ever, and this day was no different.
