Let’s talk about everything related to the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen. But before that, we need a short recap of the first season. After that, we need a little overview of the movie.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 Highlights
Let’s get an introduction to the main characters. Yuji is a not-so-normal high schooler with heightened physical abilities who can also see curses. Fushiguro Megumi is a high schooler at Jujutsu High with a lot of hidden potential for curse techniques. Kugisaki Nobara, their teammate is also a student at Jujutsu Tech who has a strong passion for fashion and potential for jujutsu.

Some things happen and Yuji eats a finger of Sukuna. Now Sukuna is residing in his body as he is waiting to be fully awake.
The show then follows them around their adventures and shows their growth and development in their powers. We also see our characters grow mentally.

Jujutsu Kaisen The Movie: Everything we need to know about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
After premiering the first season finale the anime studio Mappa announced a movie adaptation. This movie is based on the four-chapter Jujutsu Kaisen 0 series. The series was also written by Gege Akutami who also wrote its other chapters.
Jujutsu Kaisen Movie: Plot
The movie covers the story of Yuta Okkotsu. He promises his friend Rika to marry her in the future. Rika always helped Yuta but unfortunately, she died six years ago and Yuta gets a curse because he cannot marry her. He then meets Gojo who helps him to get into Jujutsu Tech.

JJK O movie is going to premiere on 24 December 2021. Sunghoo Park is the director of this movie and Hiroshi Seko is the writer. Also, Mappa Studio is the producer as well as the distributor of this movie.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Release Date
So far, we don’t have any official announcement of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. We don’t even know if there will be a season 2. Just kidding, Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the largest growing anime and we still can’t see a stop to it.
After everything that it has earned, there’s just no way of not releasing a second season. If the studio does announce a second season then we can expect it in spring or fall 2022 or maybe earlier.

The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen with its 24 episodes covers 68 chapters of the manga. If it follows the same pattern then it could show us the 5 Chapters of Gojo’s past and can also cover the 58 chapters of the Shibuya Arc.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: Gojo’s Past
Yes, you read it right. We are going to get a trip through Gojo’s past when he was a second-year student at Jujutsu Tech with Suguru Geto. We will get to see a teenage Gojo in action with one of the most favorite characters of manga readers, Toji.
Fushiguro’S father, Toji was a guy with no curse energy. He gets a mission in which he has to face Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto at once, and guess what, he almost kills both of them.
Gojo saves himself by using some curse technique and awakens his full potential and becomes the chosen one. Eventually, he kills Toji. Thus, Geto also heals enough to stay alive.
After this incident, their mindset completely changes and they become who they are now.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: Shibuya Arc
This arc will break records when it gets animated. Evident, from the epic fight scenes to the greatest plot twists, this arc has the potential to make it the best new-generation anime. A lot of things happen in this arc and here is a list of the major points.
- Geto is not the actual Geto, a curse has taken over his body after Gojo killed him.
- Geto manages to trap Gojo.
- Jogo forcefullly feeds Yuji 10 fingers of Sukuna.
- Sukuna awakens while Yuji is unconcious.
- Jogo vs Sukuna
- Nobara’s half face gets blown away.
- Nanamin Dies.
- Maki gets heavily injured.
- Sukuna commits mass murder
