Episode 8 of Demon Slayer Season 2 was one heck of an episode to mark the beginning of The Entertainment District Arc. We got everything that we needed from it. Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8 Recap
The special episode had a runtime of 45 minutes and gave us a lot to think about what’s coming. The episode bridged the gap between the Mugen Train Arc and the Entertainment District Arc.
It began with a short highlight of the end battle between Akaza and Rengoku. After that we get to see that Muzan has once again changed his form. He now lives as the adopted child of a Rich Family with a skin condition prohibiting him from going out in sunlight.
Akaza comes to report to him about how he defeated a Hashira. Instead of praises, Muzan shows him his wrath and his disappointment about him not being able to discover the blue spider lily. Tanjiro on the other hand sneaks out of the hospital to go to Kyojuro’s household.
He meets Senjuro and then Shinjiro who badmouths Kyojiro, furious Tanjiro urges him to stop. Shinjiro continues to badmouth him and Tanjiro tries to hit him but ends up accidentally headbutting him. After that he leaves the household after telling them about Kyojuro’s last words.
Upon returning he sees Haganezuka waiting for him to slaughter him but Aoi comes to his rescue. The scene cuts to 4 months later. Tanjiro and the team are training harder than ever and have already started going in other missions.
One day, upon returning Tanjiro sees Uzui Tengen ‘The Sound Hashira’ taking Aoi and Kiyo with him. Tanjiro convinces him to take him and Inosuke and Zenistu instead of Aoi and Kiyo. Tanjiro asks him about the place they were going to.
Uzui tells them that they were going to the most flashy district that is filled with Kust and greed.
Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2 Episode 9 Preview and Spoilers

Uzui will tell Tanjiro and the team about their actual mission in the Yoshiwara district. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke have to act as girls to find Uzui’s three wives who went to the district to find about the Demon lurking in Yoshiwara District.
