Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 16 Recap
Tanjiro and Uzui were unable to cut Gyutaro’s head off. He then quickly moves in to attack Hinatsuru. Tanjiro tries to save her but couldn’t move. He then uses Hinokami Kagura and Water Breathing together. He barely manages to save her.
Then Uzui and Tanjiro attack his neck at once but Gyutaro blows them away. Zenitsu and Inosuke on the other hand are fighting Daki. They aren’t able to overpower her. They both ask Tanjiro for help.
Tanjiro decides to help them first. All three of them attack her at once and Inosuke cuts her head off. He then runs off with her head. Gyutaro appears out of nowhere and drives his sickle through Inosuke’s heart. On the other hand, Uzui lays on the ground with his one hand severed.
Gyutaro then defeats all of them and all of them faint off. Tanjiro faints off while apologizing for not paying attention to the enemy. Nezuko appears in his dream and tells him to not apologize as he did his best.
He then wakes up to see Gyutaro talking down to him. After listening to him, Tanjiro headbutts him and drives his sword into Gyutaro’s neck.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 17 Spoilers

- Tanjiro forces his sword into Gyutaaro’s neck. He tries his best to cut it off. Daki tries to help Gyutaro. Zenitsu uses his godspeed technique once to get out of the rubble. He then uses it once again to cut Daki’s head to prevent her from helping Gyutaro.
- Gyutaro again releases his technique to try to blow Tanjiro away. Before it could hurt Tanjiro, Uzui comes in and saves him. He says that the score is complete and they are bound to win.
- Gyutaro in a hurry drives his sickle through Tanjiro’s lower jaw. Yet,Tanjiro continues to cut Gyutaro’s neck even with the sickle in his mouth.
- With such immense pressure on his body, a mark appears on Tanjiro’s forehead. On the other hand, Daki fights back against Zenitsu but Inosuke appears and stops that from happening.
- Zenitsu and Tanjiro cut Daki’s and Gyutaro’s heads off at the same time. Everyone is relieved and Tanjiro tries to delay the spread of poison using his breathing. He suddenly sees Uzui screaming and realizes that Gyutaro released one last technique before dying.
