Sato, Ayanokouji’s classmate, approaches him so as to know whether he has a girlfriend or not. She inquires him as she flattenes by the way he was on sports day and wants to start a platonic relationship with him. To which Ayanokouji agrees and they exchange phone numbers, the entire conversation is overheard by Kei.
Class D homeroom teacher then informs them of a special test known as Paper Shuffle. That will be conducted in pairs. The manner in which pairs will be chosen is by a mini test. The mini test will decide their current abilities and will have no penalties.
The total passing mark is 60. And, the questions are crafted by each class and will be answered by other classes. It is going to be an interesting watch as each gets to decide whom they want to compete with. We can already see the foul play by Class A.
Kushida’s Past
Horitika talks to her classmates about the test strategy, and she speaks to Ayanokoji. It is then we know that Kushida and Horitika were in the same school but not in the same class. She tells him about rumours that Kushida had torn her class apart.

Finally, after many episodes passing, we will get see Class D getting ahead in Paper Shuffle. Despite the obstacles created by Class A Ryuen, Class D with the help of Horitika’s plan is able to beat them. Ryuen and his followers are constantly trying to pull Horitika down.
And now they have a new target as well, that is Ayanokoji. He keeps track of him through Kushida. In coming episodes, Kushida will be way more aggressive about expelling Horitika and messing up with Ayankoji.
After Sato was near Ayanokoji, Kei was getting insecure even though she is already in a relationship with Yosuke. But later on, we will get to see Kei and Ayanokoji together. Yes, you heard it right. Kei and Ayanokoji are going to get together contrary to what many of us believed.
In the manga, Horitika develops a romantic relationship with Sado. Whereas Kei is her love interest for Ayanokoji. Opposite to what we thought was Horitika and Ayanokoji getting together. But seems like they are going to be each other morale supporters and develop a great bonding.
